About Us
Foco Legal Services provides relief to poor, underprivileged, and underserved members of Northern Colorado who cannot afford a full-priced attorney but do not qualify for free assistance. We try to fill in the gaps for low-income legal aid, Colorado Legal Services, pro bono lawyers, and ask-a-lawyer.
We are a nonprofit funded by donations and discount legal fees. We generally do not take criminal or domestic relations cases, but we will meet with you to help you find options. Please make an appointment if you would like a consultation. Email admin@focolegalservices.org with your contact info and some background so we can set up a time to talk.
About Dave
Foco Legal Services was founded by Dave Kovach in 2016. He is an attorney and CPA who graduated from Ohio State and Georgetown University Law Center. Dave wants to get help to those in need. He’s approachable and speaks directly. Dave can probably help you with landlord-tenant law, business formations, estate plans, tax and payroll issues, civil claims, social security and disability, protection orders, and contracts.
